St Modwen Homes are a multi-award winning housebuilder who Safety For have supported in a number of role to manage and implement a positive safety culture.

We have assisted the company with competence assessments in order to develop their supply chain.

We have undertaken site inspections and audits both on contractors and task specific items such as Work at Height. This perspective on site was developed using site support days which gave our Advisors a presence on site offering support to Contractors, Site Management and the Sales Teams to offer advice and suggestions for improvements.

We carried out this role for over a dozen projects across the Midlands, Northwest, South Wales and London.

As with any construction site the challenges faced with the stigma of health and safety meant that building relationships was crucial in achieving results. Our involvement also reached to presenting the CCS ‘Ivor Goodsite’ presentation to primary schools.
